Documenting the creation of a Memorial Meme, honoring George Floyd. My return to practicing sketch art coincided by chance with the trial of the officer responsible and i felt moved to create a tribute work of art. I worry I am a bit late to the party, as plenty of tribute art has been made over the past year already, and may seem irrelevant in creating it now... but I feel it is worth doing, and doing well, all the same. Join me in remembering George Floyd, and making sure we never forget that he was literally arrested to death. No one deserves that. Namaste.

With version 3, ZenBrush has added the diversity of a color palate (hitherto unavailable in their previous versions of the app, in honor of the Japanese Ink tradition), and the power of working with layers! I am excited to return to working with this app, and incorporating it into my creative process along with all the new toys available with Adobe Creative!
